Collagraph Workshops

Introduction to Collagraph Printmaking

This one day workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with some previous experience in printmaking. You will look at various methods of creating a textural printing ‘plate’ in the morning and in the afternoon explore different inking and printing methods both with and without an etching press.

Course numbers are limited to a maximum of 4, this ensures a high level of individual attention and access to the press. Printing is very messy and the printing ink will stain so please wear old clothes and/or aprons! Protective gloves will be available.

The cost for the day is £60 per person to include materials.

Workshops start at 10 and finish by 5

Please bring your own lunch (or there are shops and a cafe near by). Tea and coffee will be provided.

Please be aware that this is my home studio and a (very friendly) dog will be around and a cat also lives here.

We were a class of three, which essentially meant personal guidance, and the day was very well planned, so that we were able to experience the whole printmaking process.
